Since the SAEMS scholarships began in 1991, more than $235,000 in awards have been made to over 100 deserving University of Arizona students in the environmental field. Thank you to members, attendees and sponsors of the RCRA seminar, who each help to make the annual SAEMS scholarship awards possible!
The latest application was updated in December and is available as of January 8, 2021, with a March 28, 2021 due date before committee review. Awardees will be announced in May 2021.

Despite COVID, SAEMS was still able to award over $8,000 in Scholarship Funds to University of Arizona Students pursuing degrees in The Environmental, Health, and Safety Industries in the 2020-2021 Academic Year. Here is a list of this years recipients.

SAEMS awards scholarships annually to University of Arizona students pursuing degrees in the environmental, health and safety fields of study that are within the SAEMS mission. Scholarship support by SAEMS of up and coming environmental, health and safety professionals makes attending college possible and encourages students to engage in volunteer service, leadership opportunities, networking, and pursue their passions, maximizing their ability to contribute to their communities and profession now and in the future.
