CITY OF TUCSON ISSUES LATEST CLIMATE ACTION REPORT 

The latest Climate Action Report catches up with the Climate Action and Adaptation outreach team and the Office of Equity to explore their meaningful planning processes to create effective and long-lasting policies and programs that address environmental injustice. Each month, the feature story dives deeper into the efforts across the city to move us closer to Mayor and Council’s goal of carbon neutrality by 2030. The October Climate Action Report also includes an update on the Climate Action and Adaptation Plan, a video on youth climate dialogue, solar information, and a link to learn more about Cyclovia Tucson on Sunday, Oct. 30.

Scholarship support by SAEMS of up and coming environmental, health and safety professionals makes attending college possible and encourages students to engage in volunteer service, leadership opportunities, networking, and pursue their passions, maximizing their ability to contribute to their communities and profession now and in the future.
