Join one of these committees

The Trash & Bash Committee regularly schedules a clean-up hike (with breakfast afterward) of SAEMS' adopted trail at the base the Tucson Mountains. Wildcat dump clean-ups may be scheduled.

The Seminar Committee organizes and conducts educational seminars throughout the year. They orchestrate the annual RCRA Seminar, with proceeds going directly into the scholarship fund. SAEMS also teams with government agencies to provide education to the community.

The Education Committee oversees the yearly scholarships awarded to university and community college students pursuing environmental studies. They promote the scholarship contest at local schools and review the applications.

The Earth Day Committee each year participates in the Tucson Earth Day Festival and Parade. The Earth Day Committee is responsible for coordinating the SAEMS exhibit with hand-on educational activities for children. They may even be brave enough to enter the parade!
